Arlington, TX (August 22, 2018) – Lillian “Lillie” Josephine Kilpatrick Wills, 89, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord Jesus early Monday morning, August 20, 2018.

Services: A special Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Fort Worth on Saturday, August 25 at 1:oo p.m.

Lillie was born in Huntsville, Alabama, and came to Arlington as a baby in 1929. Her father, George Kilpatrick, was a well-known contractor and Gospel singer. As a member of the Singing Wills Family for over 50 years, she was a favorite soprano for so many Gospel music fans across the South. There were many honors and awards given to her through the years: Favorite Female Vocalist by the SGMA of Texas and she is in the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

She is now singing in that “heavenly choir” with husband Calvin and so many beloved family members gone on before. Preceded in death b y her parents, George and Mattie Kilpatrick, brother, Tom and sister-in-law, Sue Ann.

Survivors: Lillie is survived by her son, Randy Wills and wife, Dawn; daughter, Cindi and husband, Roy Odom; grandchildren, Justin Wills and wife, Amy, of Washington D.C. and Leslie Wills of Nashville, great-granddaughters: Sabine and Korinne.
