Carolyn Adkins Passes Away

Lancaster, PA (Feb. 7, 2018) — Singing News has learned of the passing of Carolyn Adkins on Jan. 13, 2018. She was 80 years old. Adkins was the composer of the song, “Fear Not Tomorrow”—recorded by The Collingsworth Family. This past June Carolyn and husband Gerald celebrated their 60th anniversary. carolyn also released her own Christian music album and appeared on the television program “Good Ship Zion” based in Dayton, Ohio.

Carolyn’s service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving was held at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Interment took place at Witness Park, Lititz, Pennsylvania.
