Wallace, NC (Dec. 11, 2017) Joshua Horrell announced over the weekend in a brief Facebook post reading in part, “Just wanted to send a note out to let you all know that I am no longer with The Kingsmen … I hope to see you all again real soon! I covet your prayers for this new direction God has placed on my life.”

Horrell joined The Kingsmen as tenor vocalist in June 2016 and has enjoyed performances at various venues and churches throughout the nation, as well as notable moments at Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, National Quartet Convention, Singing at Sea, and many other special events.

Joshua shares, “In the third chapter of Ecclesiastes we’re told there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven and it’s with a heavy but humbled, grateful, and expectant heart that I share that I have completed my season as tenor for the Kingsmen.” Joshua goes on to say he is forever thankful for the call God has placed on his life and he is excited to fulfill his purpose as he moves forward to greater opportunities within his ministry, as well as continuing to work with others within the southern gospel music family.
