Bristol, TN (August 27, 2018) – Southern Gospel quartet Jordan’s Bridge is excited to announce Dale Shipley as their new lead singer. Fans will remember Shipley as a founding member of the “Million Dollar Quartet,” known as Perfect Heart, and as the lead on their first #1 song, “Somebody Touched the Lord.” Shipley is a member of the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame and spent several years as the lead for Bob Wills and the Inspirationals. Recently, he sang lead with the now-retired Freedom Quartet.

Shipley joins founding members baritone Rick Sheets and tenor Phil Barker (formerly of the Singing Americans and Dixie Melody Boys), along with long-time fan-favorite bass Burman Porter, who joined Jordan’s Bridge in November 2017.

The quartet is looking forward to adding Shipley’s talents to the group and is excited about the future, as their latest radio single, “The Bridegroom Cometh,” climbs the charts and their calendar continues to fill.
