Winchester, KY — Common Bond Quartet is excited to announce big changes for the group. Chad Riley has been named to the position of tenor singer following the departure of Kevin Willis.

“We are excited to welcome Chad to the Common Bond line-up. He brings great experience and a great heart for ministry,” said Rick Melton, group owner and lead singer.

“Common Bond would like to thank Kevin for his years of service. We will be forever grateful for his time here with the group,” Melton continued.

Riley joins Common Bond after taking a four-year hiatus to focus on his family. Riley has been part of Southern Gospel groups including The Stamps, The Mystery Men, and most recently Steve Hess and Southern Salvation. Additionally, Riley began his career singing with his family. He resides with his wife Jenny Riley on the Kentucky side of the greater Cincinnati area.

Common Bond Quartet further officially announces that Karen Melton, wife of Rick Melton, will join the group on stage providing keyboard and background vocals. Karen’s alto/tenor voice adds a bit of variety to Common Bond’s signature sound that fans have come to enjoy. Karen began playing the piano at the age of seven and has been found at a keyboard ever since. She is an accomplished player as well as piano instructor.
