Sharps Chapel, TN – Chapel Valley is pleased to announce a new addition to their Sanctuary label. Jordan’s Crossing is a Southern Gospel/Bluegrass group from northeast Alabama consisting of family members Tracy, Hunter and Sydney Furgerson.
Tracy shared, “I’ve spent many years sharing the gospel through song, so it was only natural to include my children when they showed an interest in serving alongside me. When my daughter was 12, she joined in, playing mandolin and singing with me. My son followed suit, playing bass guitar and singing harmony. I’ve done a lot of song writing over the years, and I’m thrilled to see both Sydney and Hunter contributing to writing and arranging the music we sing now. Our ministry has grown over the last five years, and we are grateful to go wherever the good Lord sends us.”
Jordan’s Crossing recorded their album, Across the Times with Phil Cross, who did a wonderful job promoting the project. Phil produced two of their music videos, “The Reason,” collaboratively penned by Tracy, Hunter and Sydney and “He Will Come,” written by Tracy many years ago. Their very first radio release, titled “The Reason” climbed the Bluegrass and Country Christian music radio charts with great success.
Travis Roark commented, “When I first heard Jordan’s Crossing, I was intrigued by their unique style and impressed by the talent this family group has. They have hearts focused on ministry and God has truly blessed them with the ability to express the message through their music. Chapel Valley is excited to welcome Jordan’s Crossing to the family, and we look forward to getting started on their new album.”
Jordan’s Crossing is in the process of finishing up their songwriting and song selection for a brand-new album, which will be recorded with Chapel Valley on their Sanctuary label.
