Nashville, TN — Singing News Radio is proud to welcome Troy Peach back to radio! Troy will serve as evening host of a new show, “Southern Nights with Troy Peach,” which begins July 3, 2017. The show will air from 7 p.m. to midnight (Central) Monday through Friday.
Singing News Radio Program Director Greg Goodman said, “Troy’s radio background and knowledge of the Southern Gospel industry make him a natural fit for our programming. We know that our audience is going to be excited to interact with him as he plays their favorite music each evening.”
As a current member of the GMA/ Dove Award winning and multiple Singing News Fan Award winning group The Perrys, Troy will bring unique experiences to the network. Singing News General Manager Kevin Anderson stated, “We continue looking for ways to make our network exciting and engaging. Anyone who has been around Troy knows his passion for Southern Gospel music. The same energy and enthusiasm that Troy brings to the stage, he will now share with our Singing News Radio audience. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Troy!”
Born and raised in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, it’s no surprise that Peach has always loved music and especially Southern Gospel music. His love started with revival meetings and singings with his family and then grew with his early career as a disc jockey. It has become his life’s passion. For the last 20 years he has been touring the country with Southern Gospel Music’s top artists.
Troy has been privileged to be a member of such popular artists as The Wilburns, The Steeles, The Bowling Family, and is currently traveling over 200 days a year with The Perrys. Troy has been blessed to be a vital part of numerous number one songs as well as songs and albums that have won Dove Awards.
Troy makes his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, with his wife and talented vocalist, Katy, along with their twin boys Clayton and Shelton.
