What a great three nights we had in Jackson TN. We spent some quality time with many friends both artist and fans. Carolyn and I really look forward to visits with so many folks we love.
Carolyn asked me to say a special thanks to all of those wonderful ladies (and a few men) who came by the Singing News table to say a special thanks for her "Recipes" in her column each month. She was overwhelmed at the large number of readers who really enjoy that feature.
Of course, more people came by to say how much they enjoyed MY writing than came by to see Carolyn, don't you know........ Just kidding SWEETHEART !!!!!
Fans came from many states to Jackson for this annual event hosted by promoters Frank and Vicki Arnold. We all should be greatful to Frank and Vicki for the many great Southern Gospel events they present each year.
I have a few more photos to share with you from Jackson.
Concert promoter Frank Arnold with Aaron Wilburn. Aaron told me he was wearing his Signature Sound wig.
Carolyn visiting with one of her many adopted sons, Eric Dove of the Dove Bros.
The audience really appreciates the Big Screen at the Frank Arnold concerts. It really adds to the enjoyment of the concert.
The talented Isaacs on stage. Ben and his big hat.
Ben Isaacs and Jeff Easter. Ben said big hats are cheaper than wigs.
Gold City brought the house down with their outstanding performance.
Ernie Haase and Company bestowed a capital presentation on the clientele. And they sang pretty good too.
Brian Free and "Precious Assurance" had'em standing and clapping.
Lauren and Debra Talley..... It don't get any better than this......
I tried taking a photo of the big screens. I think Karen Peck was saying "O my God." and Sheri Easter was saying "I can't look."
Jeff Easter and I partook of the FREE food supplied by WWGM Radio. I couldn't take a photo of us both so I had to settle for taking a photo of.....' Just Jeff'.....
Aaron Wilburn cleaning out his ear after Dean Hopper pulled him out of the garbage can. You can ask Aaron about this when you see him. The memory of it is too painful for me to talk about it.
Carolyn and I with Jeff and Sheri Easter. Since Carolyn and I don't have any grandchildren YET!! (Ken and Brett please take note) We were trying to cut a deal with Jeff and Sheri on their soon to arrive new baby. Jeff said OK, but Sheri said No Deal.
That's it from Jackson TN. I will be back soon with some new stuff.
