The Phil Cross Festival Of Song Tour
The Phil Cross Festival of Song Tour, beginning in early 2005, will feature Poet Voices, Tim & Mary Alice Lovelace and mass community choirs. The Phil Cross Festival of Song is like no other tour. This production will thrill the audiences with a trio, a duo and a choir. Since the return of Poet Voices in February, the trio has already made a splash with their hit song "There's No Such Thing" already at # 7 and rising written by group members Mark Lanier and Phil Cross.

Tim & Mary Alice Lovelace will bring their unique style of singing, musicianship and comedy. Their hit comedy song "Don't Sit In My Pew" and new release known as "The Wall Song-The Ballad of Levi Slocum" are sure to be a highlight from this multi-talented duo.

The choirs will come from each different community the tour visits. Greg Crowe of Poet Voices states "By combining several choirs the entire community can get involved in this unique event". The songs featured will be some of the many compositions Phil has arranged specifically for choirs. A few of the recent hit songs Phil has brought to the church choir include: "I Found Grace" originally performed by Legacy Five, "I Love The Lord" originally performed by the Talley Trio, and the most recent "I Will Glory in the Story" performed by Three Bridges.

Anyone wishing to host a PC Festival of Song should contact Greg Crowe at 205-792-5770 or e-mail, poetvoicesmusic@hotmail.com for remaining available dates. Greg states. "We have a promotion plan to insure that these special events are a big success and blessing in your community."
