Anchormen Quartet Changes
The Beckie Simmons Agency announced today personnel changes in the Anchormen Quartet from Goldsboro, NC. Joining as lead vocalist is Jason Funderburk, son of Danny Funderburk (of Cathedral Quartet fame). Jason's responsibilities will also include Master of Ceremonies and Anchormen Road Manager.

Michael Hayes, formerly of the Christian Brothers and Heaven Bound, is from Fayetteville, NC. He will be filling the tenor position for the group that Steve Ladd left vacant to join Gold City. The Anchormen honored Steve with a plaque for eight years of service to the quartet. Tim Bullins states "Steve and I will always be best of friends. I even helped him load his furniture for his move! We wish him the very best in his new position with Gold City!"

Bullins continues "After hearing the new harmony and blend I am thrilled over this new quartet sound. I know our Anchormen fans and quartet fans alike will be too! I cannot wait to see what the future unfolds!"

Continuing to round out the Anchormen Quartet is Anchormen veteran Chad Smith in the baritone position, Brian Elliott on the keyboards and Will Lane singing bass.

Beckie Simmons adds "the reputation the Anchormen have built and the impact they have made in this industry has been nothing but positive. Sometimes in life, changes do occur! I certainly expect the best from these new vocalists, for they are seasoned quartet men! The Anchormen will continue to represent Gospel Music at its best!"
