It's been 17 days since we've taken a look at what viewers are saying on Danny's Diary. The comments keep piling up, so I better share some now or else I'm going to run out of computer space. As always, thanks for reading and I appreciate it when you take time out of your day to send along your thoughts and comments.

While I am not able to attend the NQC, your "diary" made me feel like I was a part of it and enjoying everything that went on. Thank you so much for doing this so that those of us who could not attend still felt a part of the convention. God Bless you and continue to keep up the good work.

I really appreciate all your wonderful pictures and updates from the NQC. Some of us can't attend anymore and getting news frequently made it a little bit better. My job will not allow me to attend since it was moved from the last of September. I wish they would moved it back to Nashville and back to the end of September. Thank you, Danny!

Dear Danny,
I just want to thank you for your faithful updates about the NQC. For those of us with children in school and are not able to be there, you couldn't write too many details or post too many pictures. It helps a lot to be able to get all this info via your postings.
So keep up the good work, knowing that there are a lot of us at home that really appreciate all you're doing to keep us informed.

Hi Danny,
It is very early Sat AM and I am looking at your journal for the first time. I always enjoy your articles in the Trade Review and your introductions to SN every month. This is the first time in 7 years that my wife and I were not able to attend NQC, and we have really missed it! She had a masectomy in September 97 and her cancer returned in June of this year. It has spread to her lung, liver, and bones, but we truly believe God is healing her through prayer and her oncology staff. We were hoping that we would be be able to attend NQC but she just was not physically able. I was fortunate to sell my tickets for the last 3 nights, and had seriously thought about going alone to the first 3 nights,(she left the decision to me), but decided that I needed to be here with her. Reading about NQC through your's and Jerry's Journal has eased the disappointment of missing out on one of the highlight events of the year for us. I was really happy to see the Perry's win the mixed quartet of the year. Keep the good work up, and my God richly bless all of the SN staff.

Your description of the Perry's great moment was so gripping. I read it with tears in my eyes. I am so proud of the Perrys and so grateful to the fans who voted. Sometimes it seems we get in a "rut" and seem to vote for the same groups year after year. They have worked long and hard and have had personnel changes galore like all groups and come out better than ever. Over the last 4 or 5 years, they have had som powerful songs on the charts. Back in the days of Randy and Denise in the late 80's and 90's, they had some great songs which I loved, but they didn't seem to garner the attention these recent songs have. I hope Randy and Mama Perry were there to share in the excitement.

I am ashamed to admit it, but i have just looked at Danny's Diary for the first time. I love the pictures you are posting from the NQC. I have never had the chance to go to this event and the pictures help me see what its all about. Thanks for doing that. I have also read some of the previous stories and articles that you have posted and I have enjoyed them very much. I enjoy getting the Singing News magazine. Its a great magazine. Keep up the good work that you do and I will be back to Danny's Diary.
