Peg McKamey Bean has been released from an East Tennessee hospital after spending several days there undergoing treatment for a massive bacterial infection. The popular vocalist of the McKameys continues to recover at her Clinton, TN home, and while the group has cancelled all dates for this weekend, Peg is anxious to return to singing as soon as the doctor will allow her to do so.

Peg McKamey Bean of the McKameys remains hospitalized this morning in an East Tennessee medical center. On Friday May 25th, Peg was admitted to the hospital because of a serious bacterial infection. James Blackwood continues to show improvement while doctors still do not have a definitive diagnosis. Several weeks ago doctors diagnosed James with diverticulitis, gout and liver damage.
