News Tidbits (#457)

A short diary entry this time, just to catch you up on a few Southern Gospel news items.
1.) Frank Seamans is leaving Legacy Five to spend more time with his family. Frank shared with me that he hopes to continue sharing Gospel music with his sons and that he'll hang around Legacy Five until they find a replacement. Everyone is on great terms and while all the guys hate to see him go, they're supporting him every step of the way.
2.) Cindy Watkins, wife of Archie Watkins, suffered a heart attack mid-day Wednesday while at the NQC. Cindy was rushed to a nearby hospital where emergency surgery was performed. She's doing well, but reports are that this not a minor incident. According to friends, Cindy does not have a history of heart issues, so this comes as a shock to everyone. I know everyone in the Watkins family will appreciate your prayers.
3.) As noted on the home page of this site, Brian Free & Assurance bass singer Jeremy Lile lost his father after a battle with cancer. Again, I'm sure the prayers are welcomed.
I hope that you are enjoying the videos that that we're providing from the NQC. There are more on the way and hopefully, they give those who are not able to attend a little taste of the convention. Check back often!
