OK, it's nothing earth-shattering and I can assure you it will not change your life.
However, I want you to be on the lookout for the August issue of Singing News. It'll be arriving in your mailbox within the next few weeks.
You'll see something that's a little different for us. Frankly, it's something we've wanted to try for a long time, but never really had the opportunity until this forthcoming August 2007 issue. I'll explain all the reasons why later.
But take a good look at it when it arrives - and let me know what you think. It could very well be setting the stage for something new in the near future.

Now I have a topic of a more serious nature and I'm on something of a quest to find some answers. This past weekend, the annual Bonifay sing was held and to be honest, the crowd was not good at all. The talent line-up was good, but only about 1000-1200 people showed up, a far cry from the thousands that once attended.
If you've ever attended the Bonifay event and chose not to return, I'd like to know why. Was it talent? Was it because it was outdoors in the heat? Was it...that kept you away?
Likewise, if you've attended other outdoor events and have now elected to go elsewhere, let me know your reasons why. There are many people interested in your answers.
