NQC 2005 Coverage - Wednesday
Thursday, September 15, 2005
Hi all!
Sorry for the delay in posting today. Today (Thursday) brings a lot of preparations for tonight's Fan Awards. Now that I've had a chance to hide in a quiet corner, I'm going to share with you a few photos from last night's happenings....

Ryan and Ernie of Signature Sound visit with fans at the table. The next time you see Ernie, ask him about the square dancing abilities of Tim Surrett and Tim Lovelace.

The NQC audience always enjoys the talents of the Pfeifers.

Jeff & Sheri Easter brought the whole gang to Louisville.

Three legends here: Two geniune legends - and one legend in his own mind: Dennis Zimmerman with Connie Hopper and Lily Fern Weatherford.

The Kingdom Heirs go for the final note of their opening song as they perform on Wednesday.

NQC producer Phil Brower and evening emcee Brian Lester discuss the schedule of events. Think Brian has "seen the light" on something?

Karen Peck & New River sang many songs from their latest Spring Hill recording.

Speaking of Karen, she's holding the Vestal Bear as Charlie Waller and the Dove Brothers talk about the work of the Southern Gospel Music Association.

The Talley Trio turned in their usual stellar performance despite having trouble with a pesky microphone that just refused to work.

Legacy Five's Roger Bennett waits patiently while Scott Howards tells one of his infamous stories. Roger, by the way, is doing well, but he gets exhausted easily. Therefore, he asked me to express to all that while he'd love to be at the group's booth more, the doctors have advised him to adhere to an easy schedule for a while. So, he appreciates your understanding.

Finally, we have Mr Southern Gospel Music, Michael Booth (there's a great story behind that, but you don't have all day to read it.) He told me that if I posted a photo of him on the diary, do something different with it. Soooooooooooo......there's not much I can do when I don't have much to work with. Michael is one of my best friends, but he still looks like a chicken on a hunger strike - even at this angle.
