Hello readers of Danny's Diary...Need your help on something today.
I've been asked by one of Southern Gospel Music's leading record companies to help them in an upcoming project - and they want your help, too. They are in the planning stages of putting together a recording that represents what Southern Gospel fans feel are the greatest Southern Gospel songs of all-time.
In the past, such recordings have been made, but within certain parameters. For example, one record company put together a few albums of Greatest Hits of the '80s. Another one put together a release of all the Number One songs.
But this time, someone is getting together the greatest Southern Gospel songs of well, Southern Gospel history. New songs, old songs - even hymns - are considered potentials for this recording. And you're getting to help make this project a reality.
So..send in your suggestions. However, you are limited to two songs each. Start thinking and send them to me. All of your suggestions need to arrive to me by Friday, August 5, 2005.
Every so often, I'll post the songs that come in. I'll be looking to hear from you!
