FanFoto Begins (#343)
Tuesday, January 30, 2007
At the end of last year, I asked readers of Danny's Diary to submit photos of themselves with their favorite Gospel music artists. To date, I have received a handful - but I have received even more inquiries about how to submit a photograph.
All you have to do is to send your photo, along with a brief explanation of where the photo was taken and what that particular artist means to you. Send your photo and thoughts to: danny.jones@singingnews.com.
Every so often, I'll post the photographs that arrive. Today, Brian Free and Jeff Stice are honored by two of their fans.
And by the way, don't limit your photographs to just you and the artist. If you have a photo that you think just needs to be shared with other readers of this blog, send them on in.
I'll be looking to get your photographs soon!

"This is Brian Free and myself. It was taken last October in Wichita Falls, TX, after Brian Free & Assurance had sung at the Liberty Baptist church in town.
"I think Brian has the clearest sweetest tenor voice in the world. I've known him for 18 years. He's very down-to-earth and he has not let the numerous awards and honors he's received go to his head. He's one of the sweetest nicest guys in Southern Gospel music. He believes what he sings and you know exactly where he stands. I love him like a son. He is 'precious' to me. " - Elaine Harcourt

"This is a photo of Jeff Stice and me taken in August 2006 at the Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge. I think Jeff is the most fantastic pianist in Gospel music. His playing is so clean and crisp and he can play any style you can name.
"He shows true Christian humility in his support for others and his is a genuine ministry for Jesus Christ. He doesn't revel in the praise he receives but is devoted to the needs and concerns of others. Every time he steps on the stage he plays with power and passion and just empties himself for his audience. He considers us "fanatics" friends and not just fans. To me, he is the absolute greatest." - Vera Nations
