Well, frankly, I didn't expect to post another one until after Labor Day, but after giving some careful consideration to what you're about to read, I decided to go ahead and start early.

If you will recall, I recently posted a blog titled "The Readers Want To Know." In that entry, I asked you to submit questions for use in future cover features of Singing News. I also provided some clues as to who some of the near-future cover features would be.

The response was extremely good and that's why we're doing what we're about to do ...

Normally, we don't announce (ahead of publication) to the public upcoming feature subjects, but we're going outside the box and telling you today ...

The November cover feature will be Lauren Talley. This award-winning talent has been in Southern Gospel music all of her life and there are many of us who can truthfully say we watched her grow up before our eyes. Though she's been on the Singing News cover before with her family (Talley Trio), this will mark her first solo appearance.

Here is where you come in: YOU, the readers of Danny's Diary, will write this feature through the questions you submit to Lauren. Lauren says she's up to the challenge ... so bring 'em on!

Here's a bonus for you: Every question that is actually used in the magazine will appear with the name (and city and state) of the person who submitted the question ... AND, a photo of that person will be displayed with the question, too. So, yes - you will see your smiling face in the Singing News. (After the final selection of questions is made, we'll contact you for a photo.)

Because of print deadlines, all questions that are to be considered must be in my hands by Noon, Tuesday, September 5.
