UPDATE: August 31, 4:00pm Central:
"We are on our way home with our Embry Caroline! Carried her out of the hospital exactly a week after she was born. :) THANK YOU to everyone who has prayed for our baby girl. You will NEVER know how we have felt your prayers, and we know Embry sure did. God is so good, and we thank Him for our precious miracle! I can't imagine living life without Him. He held her and took care of her when Scotty and I couldn't. If you don't know Him as your Savior, we pray today that you come to know Him and ask him for forgiveness. Just put your faith and trust in Him. He will be the BEST thing that will ever happen to you!
Please continue to keep Embry in your prayers that she will continue to do great!"

"8/29 More great news today! As many of you know, Embry had her 2nd EEG today. We just talked to the Neurologist, face to face. He said that the EEG looked "completely fine" and didn't resemble the one taken earlier in the week! He went on to say that she doesn't look like the same baby that he read about & saw on Sunday. Kasey & I told him that MANY PEOPLE had been praying for her and that we Thank & Praise the Lord for these results And he agreed with us. We are one step closer to taking our girl home. When she goes home she will be on medicine & sleeping with a monitor for at least 2 months.
We have a cried, every tear, we have ..the past 5 days....but after this news kasey & I found some more, somewhere : )"

Great, Great News!
We just got word from the Neurologist that Embry's brain is completely fine! We praise the Lord & again, thank all of you for your continued prayers!
She still has the seizure condition. The doctors are continuing her medicine for that and they will do another EEG, In a day or so , to re-check her activity. We now pray for results and answers to this unknown. She will remain in NICU & We will be here, with her, for a few more days, at least. Kasey & I just had great visit w/ her.God is Great, no matter whatScotty, Kasey, & Embry
On Sunday, Scotty Inman posted an update on Embry's condition on his Facebook page:
Embry had an EEG today & the doctors found that she has suffered "multiple seizures" and they are now treating that with medicine and will continue to monitor her. Tomorrow they will do an MRI that will show us if there has been any damage or compromising of her little brain, due to this. Tomorrow is BIG DAY. We STILL need every prayer. We love our baby girl so much. We just want her to be, what God wants her to be. He knew all of this would be... And we trust HIM.We love you all,Scotty, Kasey, & Embry
-ORIGINAL POST-
From Scotty Inman's Facebook page:
"We are asking prayer for our new little girl, Embry. Early this morning she stopped breathing & has had 3 or 4 of the same episodes throughout the day. She is in ICU and they will be running tests the next 3-4 days to try to find the problem. To be honest, Kasey and I are scared to death and agree that this is the hardest thing that we've been through. We believe in Gods plan & we also believe in Gods healing. We just want our baby girl. Yesterday was the highest high, & today has been the lowest low. Thank you for your prayers. We love you!"
