Mobile, AL - Donald Alfred Sanders, age 69, a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama, died Sunday, June 24, in a local hospital. Don was the founder and host of Sunday Morning Gospel Time on WKSJ. The four-hour program aired every Sunday for 16 years. He brought many Gospel singers to the Mobile area for many people who enjoy Gospel music. He will be sadly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sanders; one daughter, Donna (Eric) Bowman; one son, Gary Sanders; his mother, Grace Sanders; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, June 28, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. Chapel services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
