Hildred Abee, wife of Charles Abee, former kingsmen
pianist, Charles Abee, has passed away. Charles is a former pianist of the Kingsmen, Meetin'Time Quartet, and Tarheel State Quartet among others. Currently he
is Minister of Music at Winklers Grove Baptist Church in Hickory,
NC.
Hildred Blanche Robinson Abee, age 69, of Morganton passed
away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at her residence. Born Feb. 1, 1941, in
Burke County. She was a member of Winklers Grove Baptist Church in Hickory.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. at
Winklers Grove Baptist Church in Hickory with Rev. Dale Faulkenbury and Rev.
Paul Deal officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family
will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Winklers Grove
Baptist Church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Winklers Grove
