UPDATE (September 7th, 6:15PM CentralTime) Tracy Stuffle Health Update

- Staff
Wednesday, August 11, 2010

Starting tomorrow we get to start all these classes learning about what he can and cannot have on his new low fat/diabetic diet. This is gonna be a challenge for both of us, especially on the road. So many people bring pies, cookies, cakes and etc. to the bus and then we have churches that feed us before the concert. I would like for any of you that have great low fat / sugar free recipes to email them to me. This is the challenge for me, because I have always cooked old fashion like my Granny. So any advice on recipes and tips, please email them to libbi@perrysministries.com. This is a new journey for all of us!

Thanks again for ALL your prayers and encouragement!!! I wish I could show you my heart so you could see how grateful I am to know that so many people love my Sweet T!!!

Doctors have completed the bypass surgery Tracy began undergoing approximately 10 hours ago. Tracy is now in recovery and the family will be allowed to see him shortly. Early information being received now indicates the surgery was successful. More information will be posted as it received.

The family appreciates your continued prayers.

Singing News has just learned that Tracy Stuffle of the Perrys has been admitted to a hospital near their home.  He has been experiencing some discomfort recently as a result of a hiatal hernia. During additional testing, an initial EKG appeared to be normal; however, a second test did show a heart attack. Doctors have just completed an arteriogram and they have concluded that Tracy needs open heart surgery, possibly four or five by-passes, first thing tomorrow morning.

The Stuffles appreciate your prayers during this time.  Stay tuned to singingnews.com and Solid Gospel radio for the most up to date information.
