UPDATE: Tuesday, September 7th- 6:15PM Central- From Libbi Stuffle:
Tracy
is home from his two day stay at the hospital. He is so tired from not
being able to sleep at the hospital at night due to the nurses coming in
at all hours doing stuff. So he's in our bed (not the recliner) asleep.
He's having some back pain from the hospital bed, but other than that,
he is doing great.
The Doctor told us yesterday that the EKG and blood work looked
like Tracy had maybe had another heart attack, but the CT scan showed
everything looking good. So that's why he had to stay an extra night so
they could monitor him to make sure. The Doctor came in this morning and
said, NO heat attack! The issue Tracy had Sunday at church was he stood
too long without moving, so the blood in the leg that the vain was
taken from pooled in his feet. So he told him if he was gonna be
standing for any amount of time to move around and move his feet. Also,
the pain med that Tracy took before church (that he normally takes at
bedtime) didn't help matters. Tracy's right shoulder in the joint has
been hurting ever since the surgery, which the Drs say is normal. It was
hurting Sunday morning before we left for church so he took something
for pain. Tracy didn't eat much for breakfast because he thought we
would go some where after church. All of this combined, causes him to
almost black out. We feel better that we didn't take any chances at
finding out what happened. Better to be safe than sorry!
Tracy has a Dr appt in the morning at 8am with his heart surgery
for a check up since the surgery. You can hardly tell his scar, it has
healed so good. Then he has another appt on Thursday with the diabetic
doctor at 11:45am. So we have the next couple of days being busy.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed!!! We can never say thanks enough!!! We love you all!
-----------------------------------
Well this morning started out great and then ended up not so great! Got up and Tracy was feeling great so we went to church. In the middle of church Tracy felt like his sugar was bottoming out, so he went out in the lobby to check his sugar and it was 124. He had all the signs of bottoming out, but the numbers were not showing it. Then his vision starting doing funny things, so we brought him to the ER. All of his blood work and EKG showed everything was normal. Then about 45 mins later he had another bout, but it was nearly as bad as the first one, but his blood pressure was 102 / 64. For him (pre-surgery) that is very low. It stayed low for a while and then starting coming back up.
They admitted him overnight for observation. They are scheduling another EKG and the doctor has schedule a CT scan for in the morning of Tracy's chest and abdomen. Probably be sometime after 8am central. Please pray that the CT scan will show all clear!
