WE ARE VERY SAD THAT THE AWARDS HAVE BEEN MOVED FROM THE NQC.
WE ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT IN DOLLYWOOD AND WILL REALLY MISS THE AWARDS THIS YEAR AT NQC. WE HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE IN THESE TIMES TO ONLY GO ONE PLACE. I WAS ALSO SAD THAT THE SINGING NEWS DID NOT CHOOSE TO SEND OUT THE FAN AWARD NOMINEES TO US WHO ARE SUBSCRIBED TO THE MAGAZINE AND TO THE NEWS ONLINE.

While I certainly offer my congratulations to the top-ten nominees, I must say that it is ridiculous to make this voting process a nearly year-round event. The window of opportunity for artists is severly narrowed by the present system. A more expedient method is needed.

I am so glad to see all my favorites nominated once again including a few new ones. Will we as members of SGMA/Singing News be able to continue voting for these fan awards since it is no longer a part of NQC? Hopefully so. Good Luck to all.

Glad to see Brian Free and Assurance getting nominated in several catagories. The more I hear these guys, the more I appreciate them. They bring the message in song which is what I like. So many of the artists are using their time to talk too much.

Nice to see that a lot of my nominations are in the top 10. Disappointing not to see Debra Tally and Ann Downing on here in one of the female vocalist categories, though, and not see Stan Whitmire in the favorite musician classification. Oh, well ... I love all of them anyway !
