I agree completely with deannbailey's post below. Does Mike's uncles have no idea what is going on in Southern Gospel music? I have been a big fan of Mike's since the Gold City days and was disappointed when I heard that his family wanted him to "retire" the LeFever name, and without knowing what the group sounded like. Do they live with their head in the sand? What in the world? Do they even know about all the awards?

That name should have never been retired. Mike has the potential of continuing his family name for many years. God bless you Mike in all your endeavers.

Glad to see the LeFerve name back with the group where it belongs. I don't mean to sound crass or crude, however, I have to ask, if your own children don't know what their grandparents accomplished, why is that? I'm sure Jordan knows but that would be because Mike has stayed involved in the music and made it possible for his son to see what they accomplished.

The fact that a decision or request for Mike to drop the name without even hearning what his group sounded like speaks volumes for his integrity to not draw the family through a battle and others lack thereof.

Eva Mae approved and had they lived his uncles would have as well. Had Maurice kept up with anything going on in SGM he would have known that.

Congratulations to Mike and the group! I know that the tradition of excellence established by the original LeFevres is in good hands with the LeFevre Quartet.
