Lillenas Names John Jennings As New Director Of Sales And Marketing

Kansas City, MO - Lillenas Publishing Company is pleased to announce John Jennings as the company's new director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Jennings will be responsible for all aspects of sales management, general marketing, online and digital marketing, and event marketing and sales. Jennings will also be an integral member of the newly formed Nashville-based creative development team, led by Dave Clark and Emily Higinbotham.

Commenting on his new role, John said, "I'm thrilled to be a part of Lillenas Publishing Company. Lillenas has a rich history and has been a leader in evangelical church music publishing for over 85 years. I am grateful to Dr. Hardy Weathers, Tim Curtis, and the rest of the Nazarene Publishing House executive team for the opportunity to help lead Lillenas into future success."

Tim Curtis, director of Lillenas Publishing Company, remarked, "I'm excited to have John joining the Lillenas executive team. He brings a wealth of industry respect and knowledge, a heart for the church, and a passion for music. John Jennings has been involved in the Christian music industry for over 15 years. For 12 years he was employed by Word Music, a division of Word Entertainment. During his tenure at Word, he held positions in direct sales, event management, marketing, and product development. Most recently, Jennings was the executive director of marketing and oversaw the development of Word Music's choral book product line.

John and his wife, Shelley, along with their newborn daughter, Annie, live in Nashville.
