Nashville, TN - Riversong Records (a division of Homeland Entertainment Group) is delighted to announce the signing of Gene McDonald (one of Gospel Music's most notable bass vocalists) to a solo recording agreement.
The first project to be released is titled "I Have Returned" and is set for release on November 24, and the label along with McDonald have been putting the finishing touches on the project in the studio in the past few weeks. Homeland has been representing Gene with marketing and radio support recently with his first national independent solo release "In Times Like These".
Gene McDonald states "This is the type of recording that I have been desiring to do for many years now, but the timing was just not right. Thank you to Homeland for giving me this opportunity and I am anticipating great things to come as God directs us in this endeavor".
Most remember Gene from the first time he stepped on stage with the Florida Boys in 1998 where he spent 9 years with the legendary quartet and voiced some of the lowest bass singing on "When They Ring Those Golden Bells".
