Oak Grove, LA - Harold Russell, of Har-Bet Promotions in Oak Grove, Louisiana passed away Sunday, October 25. He and his wife, Betty, promoted the Dave L. Pearce Gospel Sing at the Fiske Theater in Oak Grove, LA for more than 20 years. They also were close personal friends with the late Governor Jimmie Davis and promoted concerts at the Jimmie Davis Tabernacle as well as other events throughout Louisiana and the mid-south.
Harold is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home, along with a host of additional family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street Oak Grove, LA 71263. Their phone number is (318) 428-3263.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
