Frank Seamans To Depart Legacy Five

- Scott Fowler
Tuesday, October 13, 2009

Franklin, TN - Legacy Five has announced that tenor, Frank Seamans, has decided to leave the road. Scott Fowler commented, "Frank and I sang together in a group 20 years ago and have been friends ever since. Frank has been a joy to have in Legacy Five for the past five years. We will miss him, but to everything there is a season and seasons change. We wish Frank all the best and are grateful to have shared a season of our lives with him." Frank explained that there were many factors in his decision, but he believes God will honor his commitment to his family and to follow the leading of the Lord in his life.

Frank also spoke of the possibility that we may see him back out singing in the future. He commented, "Frank Jr. and I sang an old hymn together on the new Legacy Five Live at Oak Tree DVD and it was a really special moment for us... that has sparked a desire in me to sing with my family. Maybe when we get a clean bill of health for Frank Jr. we can come back out here as a family and contribute something meaningful to the gospel music world."

We want to ask you to continue to pray for Frank and his family as they walk through this journey and also for Legacy Five as we seek the right person to fill the role as new tenor.

If you are interested in auditioning for Legacy Five, please send a digital file photo of yourself as well as an MP3 file of you singing to mail@legacyfive.com
