3 Cups sugar1/2 Cup shortening2 sticks margarine4 eggs3 1/4 Cups flour1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon baking powder1 Cup sweet milk2 teaspoons vanilla1 teaspoon almond flavoring
Cream sugar, shortening, and margarine well. Add eggs one at a time and beat after each addition. Mix dry ingredients well, or sift them, and add to creamed mixture alternately with sweet milk. Add vanilla and almond flavorings and beat well. Bake at 350
