Dandy Apricot Squares


Ingredients

2 1/2 Cups cooked drained apricots

3/4 Cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 Cup water

2 Cups sifted flour

1 teaspon salt

3/4 Cups butter or margarine

1 Cup sugar

1 1/2 Cups flaked coconut

1/2 Cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Combine cooked apricots, 3/4 cup sugar and water; cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickend. Cool. Sift flour, salt, soda together. Cream butter gradually adding 1 cup sugar; beat well. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in coconut
