Congo Bars


Ingredients

1 stick butter

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 box brown sugar

1 small package chocolate chips

2 1/2 Cups flour

1 teaspoon soda

Instructions

Melt butter in a 2 1/2 quart saucepan and let cool. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla mixing well. Add other ingredients, chips last. Spread in flat baking pan, working bottom to sides. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes being careful not to overbake. Cut in
