1 Cup shortening1 Cup brown sugar, firmly packed1 egg, beaten1/2 Cup seedless raisins2 Cups sifted cake flour1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt2 teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon nutmeg1/2 Cup sour cream1/2 Cup broken walnuts
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and raisins and mix well. Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with sour cream to raisin mixture. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
