1/4 lb butter1 egg1/2 Cup chopped nuts1/4 teaspoon soda1/2 Cup sugar1 Cup flour1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Drop by teaspoon for a cookie on a greased cookie sheet, spread thin. Bake at 370 degrees, until brown.
