Baked Vanilla Custard


Ingredients

1 egg

2 Tablespoons sugar

Dash of salt

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 Cup milk, scalded

Nutmeg

Instructions

Combine egg, sugar, salt and vanilla in bowl; mix well. Stir in hot milk. Pour into two 6-ounce dessert cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place in baking dish half-filled with water. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until tests done.
