Coffee Chiffon Pie


Ingredients

1 baked pie shell

1 Tablespoon plain gelatine

1/4 Cup cold water

3 Tablespoons instant coffee powder

1/3 Cup sugar

1 1/2 Cups milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup heavy cream, whipped

2 eggs, separated

Instructions

Sprinkle gelatine over cold water to soften. Mix coffee, 1/3 cup sugar and beaten egg yolks together. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly and cook over hot water until mixture coats the spoon. Remove from heat, stir in gelatine and vanilla. Cool until
