Date Pudding


Ingredients

1 (8 oz) package dates

2 eggs

1 1/4 Cup flour

1 Cup nuts

1 1/2 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup butter or oleo

1 Cup boiling wter

1 level teaspoon soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Stone and chop dates. Sprinkle on soda and turn boiling water over them. Let stand while remainder is mixed. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs, vanilla, dates and nuts.

Bake in 9x13╙ pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
