Line a 9╙ pie pan with pastry. Peel and core about 6 large apples, quarter, then chunk them.Mix apples, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and juice of 1/2 lemon in bowl. Then put ingredients in pie shell.Top with following mixture:
Put the pie in a paper sack. Fold and close the ends with paper clips. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 1 hour. A two crusted pie can also be baked this way.
