Sweet Potato Pie


Ingredients

2 Cups pureed cooked sweet potato

2 Cups cream

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 Cup packed dark brown sugar

1/4 Cup melted butter

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon each, ginger and nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cloves

Pastry for single crust 9-inch pie

Instructions

Combine ingredients in large bowl; mix until well blended. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake in 425 degree oven 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and continue baking 40 to 45 minutes longer, until crust is golden and custard is set. Cool. Serve
