Boston Cream Pie


Ingredients

Cake:

1/3 Cup butter, softened

1 Cup sugar

2 eggs

1 3/4 Cups cake flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 Cup milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Filling:

2/3 Cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

Dash salt

1 1/2 Cups milk

2 egg yolks, lightly beaten

1/2 teas

Instructions

Prepare cake; cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in vanilla. Divide batter between 2 greased and floured 8-inch round cake pans. Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes,
