1/4 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted1 Cup firlmly packed brown sugar1 egg, beaten1/2 Cup applesauce1 teaspoon grated orange rind1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 1/4 Cups flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon baki
Combine first 6 ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stirring well. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and soda; add to applesauce mixture, mixing well. Stir in pecans.
Spoon the batter into a greased 12x8x2╙ baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
