Cherry Blosson Dessert


Ingredients

1/4 Cup flour

1 Cup sugar

3/4 Cup cherry juice

1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring

1 can sour cherries, drained

1 1/2 Cups flour

1/2 teaspoon soda

1 Cup brown sugar

1/2 Cup shortening

1 Cup oatmeal

Instructions

Mix 1/4 cup flour with sugar, add cherry juice and flavoring. Cook until thick. Add cherries. Cool. Sift remaining flour with salt and soda. Blend in brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut in shortening. Press one half of the mixture in a 8x12 inch pan. Spread with
