Cherry Nut Chiffon Cake


Ingredients

2 1/4 Cups sifted cake flour

1 1/2 Cups sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 Cup salad oil

5 unbeaten egg yolks

1/4 Cup maraschino cherry juice

1/2 Cup cold water

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 Cup egg whties (7 or 8 eggs)

1/2 teaspoon cream of tarta

Instructions

Preheat oven. Sift cake flour. Chop nuts very fine; slice and chop well drained cherries very fine.
