1/2 Cup of shortening1 1/4 Cups sugar2 eggs1/4 Cup milk1 teaspoon vanilla2 1/2 Cups flour3/4 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon cinnamon1/8 teaspoon cloves1/2 teaspoon nutmeg2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1 1/4 Cups mashed ripe bananas (3-4)
Cream shortening, add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients. Mix bananas with milk and add to above mixture. Pour into oblong pan 8x12. Bake for 45 minutes in moderate oven at 350 degrees. Frost as desired.
