1/4 lb butter1 Cup sugar1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla1 Cup flour1/2 Cup chopped nuts1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon nutmeg2 Cups finely chopped and peeled apples
Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
