Angel Food Cake


Ingredients

1 Cup sifted cake flour

1 1/2 Cups sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt in flour

1/4 teaspoon salt in eggwhites

1 1/4 Cup egg whites (10-12 eggs)

1 14 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

Sift flour with 1/4 teaspoon salt and only 1/2 cup sugar 4 times and set aside. Beat egg whites and 1/4 teaspoon salt until foamy, then add 1 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar. Beat until stiff and stands in peaks, but not dry. Add 1 cup sugar (2 tablespoons a
