Brown Sugar Nut Cake


Ingredients

1/3 Cup butter

1 heaping Cup light brown sugar

1/2 Cup milk

1 1/2 Cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 eggs

1 Cup chopped peacans or walnuts

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar and egg yolks. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, add alternately with milk. Fold in well beaten egg whites, add vanilla and nuts. Bake in well greased loaf pan in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
