1/3 Cup butter1 heaping Cup light brown sugar1/2 Cup milk1 1/2 Cups flour2 teaspoons baking powder2 eggs1 Cup chopped peacans or walnuts
Cream butter and sugar and egg yolks. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, add alternately with milk. Fold in well beaten egg whites, add vanilla and nuts. Bake in well greased loaf pan in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
