1 1/2 Cups cake flourPinch of salt1/3 Cup butter or margarine1/3 Cup sugar1/2 Cup chopped dates2 Tablespoons crystallized ginger1 egg, beatena little milk
Mix the sifted flour and salt with the butter or margarine. Stir in the sugar, dates and ginger. Add the egg and enough milk to form a stiff dropping consistency. Place by spoonfuls in greased muffin tins. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
