Beat egg yolks with the sugar until light yellow and fluffy. Add slightly cooled milk and vanilla. Add sifted flour and baking powder. Fold in melted butter. Pour into two 8-inch well-buttered and floured cake pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 35
