4 oz cooking chocolate1 Cup milk5 eggs2 Cups sugar1 Cup cake flour1 teaspoon baking powder5 egg whitesChocolate Cream FillingChocolate Cream Filling:5 oz semi-sweet chocolate3 Tablespoons sugar1/8 teaspoon salt3 Tablespoons water3 egg yolks
Melt chocolate in milk and cool. Cream egg yolks and sugar. Add flour, baking powder and chocolate mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in two layers in a 325 degree oven. Cool and spread Chocolate Cream Filling between the layers.
